Weekend writing retreat in Manchester with @patric Weekend writing retreat in Manchester with @patrickgourzong_ ! I've taken the opportunity to visit the Derek Jarman exhibition at Manchester Art Gallery. That was great, but the real star of the show for me is their "Out of the Crate" gallery. Here, sculptures from their Collection are displayed as if backstage: the public is encouraged to actively research and curate the display. It both sheds a light into the curating process and playfully demystifies how we approach an artwork. Fantastic work and I would love to meet the curators who came up with this ingenious concept! Bravi!!
