Quarantine Treat: during this period of self-isolation, we are making freely available the multichannel film JULIUS, created by Jacek with Elastic Theatre, in collaboration with Savage Mills. Supported by Wellcome Trust and Jerwood Foundation, this work premiered at Spitafields Music Festival in London before an international tour, including a run at Museo MACRO in Rome. IN LIMBO selected for Aesthetica Prize’s Future Now Anthology. As well as being featured in this application, Jacek’s work will be exhibited at York Art Gallery for the duration of the Aesthetica Prize exhibition until December 2020. More details here.

Jacek was recently appointed to the academic rank of Reader in Art & Performance at the AAD at London Metropolitan University. This promotion follows his recent award as University Teaching Fellow. Find out more.
Collaborations across Asia: Jacek continues his projects in Asia, through an ongoing collaboration with British Council, Hong Kong. Jacek was recently invited to present his work as part of Spark International Festival at Tai Kwun Centre for Heritage & Arts and further opportunities are currently being planned for 2020/2021. Jacek’s work was also recently presented in Japan (Galerie Weissraum in Kyoto) and South Korea (CICA Museum).
