From stage productions with his award-winning company Elastic Theatre to live installations in galleries and museums, Jacek Ludwig Scarso has developed a performance-making  method based on the combination of different performance disciplines (vocal music, circus, contemporary dance, spoken text and opera) and on a flexible and ever-changing response to site. His works have re-imagined classic mythological characters as well as created absurdist stories exploring sacred, scientific and gender themes. His stagings have spanned traditional theatres as well as disused factories, historic palaces, urban settings, crypts and cemeteries.
